This policy explains what information we collect on this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We wrote it in plain language on purpose: a policy you cannot understand protects nobody.
Who we are

What we collect, and when
We only collect information you choose to give us. When you send the contact form, we receive your name, the phone number or email address you provide, the city you select, the ZIP code if you add it, the topic you choose, and whatever you write in the message field. When you use the photo estimator, we also receive the photos and measurements you upload, the details of the room you describe and, if you add it, your ZIP code. We do not require you to create an account for any of this.
Why we collect it
To answer you, to prepare your estimate, and to schedule and carry out work you request. That is the whole list. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not enrich your data with information bought from third parties.
Where it goes
Submissions from this website are stored in Airtable, a database service we use to manage customer inquiries, and a notification is sent to our own email so we can respond. Access is limited to the people at our company who need it to do their job.
Analytics, and why there is no cookie banner
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages people visit. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not follow you to other websites. That is why this site does not interrupt you with a consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.
Payments
You cannot pay for anything on this website. There is nothing to buy here, no card details are ever entered, and no payment processor receives your data through this site. If you hire us, we invoice you directly.
Services we rely on
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. On the photo estimator, the contact form and the referral forms, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the request comes from a person and not an automated program; it does this without puzzles and without advertising cookies. We use Airtable to store inquiries and estimates, an artificial intelligence service to analyze the photos you submit to the estimator, and Google to email you a copy of your estimate. On the Contact and Showroom pages, the Google map only loads if you press the button to see it; once loaded, Google may set its own cookies. Each of these providers has its own privacy terms and handles data on our behalf. If a form submission fails to save, the error record our hosting keeps may include your email address so we can still reach you; those records are deleted automatically after a few days. That is the whole list.
Photos you send us
Photos you upload to the estimator are used to prepare your estimate. We do not publish photos of your home on this website or anywhere else without asking you first and getting your permission.
Referral program
If you join our referral program, we keep your name, contact details, partner type and the answers you check on the sign-up form, so we can track your referrals and send your rewards. If you refer someone, you give us their name, phone, email (optional) and project location, and you confirm they agreed to be contacted; we use that only to contact them about their project and never show it to other partners. Installers who enroll in the Pro Rebate upload tax and insurance documents; those files are stored in a private Google Drive folder that only our office can open, never in our website database. Referral records are kept for 3 years. Program emails are sent with Google, and reminders are kept in a private Google Calendar.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to serve you and to keep proper business records. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, except for anything we are legally required to retain — for example, invoices and tax records.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to operations@ownstylecompany.com and we will respond. You never have to give us a phone number to use this website: an email address is enough.
Children
This website is for adults arranging work on their property. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we update this page and change the revision date at the top. We do not make changes retroactively without telling you.
